Obscure Lore Question: Koltira Edition

I just had a quick question I though some people here might know. I had a feeling that I read somewhere that Koltira was a spellbreaker before he died and became a Deathknight but for the life of me I can't remember where I read that, nor find any evidence to back it up. Does anybody know if he actually was a spellbreaker or am I just crazy? ...
